How old do I sound when I say things like, “Its great to see young people in love.”? I think the answer is just old with a period at the end. But its true. And these young people are in love. I think back 6-7 years, when I was their age, and wow, I am a complete loser compared to these 2. I mean Kyle works for Microsoft, come on! I was still living at home, oh well…
Not only was it a pleasure watching these two become one, I also met some more fellow awesome wedding vendors:
This. Wedding. Was. Ridiculous. Easily the most dance-filled extravaganza I have ever had the privilege to be a part of. When I met Tania James back in the winter, she came across as a very sweet person, perhaps though, a little reserved, and I assumed her wedding to her fiance, Vivek, would be pretty straight-forward. I was incorrect. As it turned out, from the Mylanji at the party the night before, to the Bollywood twist on the first dance at the reception, this was the most energetic union I have seen. Witnessing things like this make me hate the Cupid Shuffle that much more (unless you love the Cupid Shuffle, in which case I do too and you should hire me to capture your wedding).
{Editor’s note: For whatever reason, Vimeo has taken the resolution on this particular video way down. Why? I don’t know. Maybe your face wasn’t ready for this party in full definition!}
Among your wedding vows, you promise to love in times of sickness and health, being together while rich or poor, and to not part until death. There should also be a clause promising to accept your spouse’s friends as your own. Myself, I have no problem with this as one of wife’s friends is the talented Courtney Reece.
She had me follow her and capture a recent engagement session that she shot for WDJX’s Sarah Jordan and her fiance Brian (who could not have been more fun to work with.)
Also, the photo in the blog, though noted copyrighted by myself, was actually taken by Courtney, but WordPress won’t tell the truth…
Snow days were always exciting growing up. As students, the one responsibility you had was suddenly lifted off your shoulders, hooray! Well, the same goes for teachers. Last week, my wife enjoyed a couple of well-deserved days of rest and was catching up on the trusty DVR. While thoroughly enjoying a show on Bravo! called “Tabatha’s Salon Makeover” she was excited to see her husband’s work in an ad for Hair by Bennie and Friends. Clips of several videos I have made for them in the past were spliced into…let’s call it an “interesting” local commercial.
