Well, I left to shoot this wedding at the beautiful Duncan Memorial Chapel (that just happens to be located at a cemetery). I got there early to shoot some details at the lovely chapel, but the door happened to be locked up tight. I couldn’t find anyone to let me in so I thought I’d take a break on a bench and rest my eyes. Because I hadn’t had more than 2 hours of sleep at a time for a bit, I was overcome by the quietness of the day. Nothing says life-changing event like waking up in a graveyard in the middle of a Saturday afternoon…

These 2 had about 1 hour in their busy schedule to get these done and 50% of the couple were excited to have pictures taken. However, the 50% that weren’t so excited were the most entertaining groom I’ve met. I love when people’s personalities can’t be contained for any amount of time and I think you can tell from these pics.

Also notable about this wedding, it took place on the date that Wacko McNutty Harold Camping predicted the end of the world. Of course, this was not the case, but it was a beautiful occasion to spend your last hours…

But during this time apart she found Craig.  If there was ever someone perfect for Jenni, it was Craig.  (And yes, Jenni-Craig, I giggle all the time thinking this as well).  This engagement session was the first time I had met the love of her life – and I have met some of the others – and I was overwhelmed with happiness for them both.
